current song: The sound of Mom texting..
Well. Today. Today was eventful. Nay, incredibly eventful. Nay, chock full of random shit I was certainly not expecting!
It started fine, waking in my Dad's house. I got up, after texting in bed for a bit, got ready and ate my breakfast (cereal, Idk what it was..). I got dressed, washed, etc. and left my Dad's house. I went to Kimmi's, and did my paper round. I went back to Kimmi's, finding that the football game I had planned to go to, with Kris, had been called off.
When I was back at Kimmi's, her Mom was sorting through boxes full of packed stuff, looking for microphones for singstar. I helped and we sat there until about 3pm. Kimmi's Mom, Mandy found an old remote control car... I remembered an epic remote control car I saw in Fareham, for only £16. Realising I could almost afford it, I went and begged Iain for £5. He said yes, and I promised not to make him lose 'The Game'. (:
I then cycled into Town, still all going well...
Upon arrival, I locked my bike up, outside WH Smiths and I walked to Halifax (The bank, not the place). When I returned, my bike lock broke. Totally dead. Impossible to undo. I had no idea what to do, so just walked to Cash Converters and bought the car. When I got back, I rang my Dad. He said he would come down and help. After 15 minutes or so, he arrived sporting a delightful bright blue jumper and carrying a Lidl carrier bag full of small tools.
He began to attempt to force the lock open, inviting the several concerned looks from members of the public, passing by. The attempts looked fruitless, so I suggested we go ask the Police station if they had any ideas. Dad said it might be good, he'd just keep trying for a little bit. As he said it, a police car pulled up. As the officer gets out, a woman goes walking over, telling him she was just about to call, and pointing at us.
The officer goes to speak to my Dad.
"Excuse me Sir, can I ask what you're doing there?"
"It's my Son's bike, the lock broke and I'm just trying to open it."
"Ahh, well we saw something suspicious on the cameras, and we've received several calls from concerned members of the public."
"I'd hope so too..."
"First question, how do I know it's your's?"
"Well.. I don't know.."
"It's alright, if you'd been stealing it, you'd have run as soon as I got here..."
"Haha, I suppose so.."
"Right, if I can just take your name and address."
"Sure.. (Gives name and address, as do I)
"Okay, I'll just go check that's all okay"
As he walked off to his vroom vroom car, Dad continues to attempt to open the lock. After another few minutes, and a deep cut in his hand, he succeeds..
My Father walks over to the officer and tells him he's managed it. The officer says he was just looking if he had anything to cut the lock with. (All he could find was a hammer)
My Dad then drove off home, and I cycled back to Kimmi's, with my car.
As this is a very long post already, I shall continue with another post in a little while, so as not to overwhelm with one super-human sized post. (:
TO BE CONTINUED...
EDIT:
This one is not nearly as good to read,
So... That gets us to about 6pm. Crashed car, then ate dinner.
Noticed one of the fish seemed a bit ill. The last few days he's been not eating much, hiding in small dark places, floating around a lot. Today he just didn't eat. He floated around. Not swimming. We then noticed all his fins look a bit 'rough'. The top one's almost gone. It seems he was bullied by the other fish. Probably hiding from them all the time.. Kimmi says that type of fish are weak and shouldn't be with other competitive fish. And the other are. Very. He's now in his own jug of water, with his own food. To be perfectly honest, I doubt he'll make it through the night. All I know is he was looked after very well and had a happy little life. If you die, RIP Harry. <3
I'ma stop now. Busy day. I wanna rest tomorrow and race my car, but hurricanes?
Comment the most interesting thing you had happen today?
Love.
